Participation in the contest is absolutely free and requires registration on the website only. Guests (unregistered users) are allowed to view the questions and forum discussions, but cannot post answers and comments.
Throughout the whole competition every contestant gains the points. The system of points distribution is following:
- for each answer the contestant recieves +1 point, no matter if the answer was correct or was not; for the following answers to the same question the points are not given out;
- for the right answer the contestant recieves +10 points; if two or more participants gave the right answer, the points are given to the first three of them.
Every question remains open for some period of time, usually few weeks. In some cases the period can be prolonged by organizers. The question is automatically closed when the validity period expires, or when it is given a right answer for it. After this the answers for this question are not accepted.
On the morrow of the contest the best participants by the number of points will recieve valuable prizes (the books with autographs of sensei Yamada or Tamura, DVD disks, T-shirts, etc; the main prize - wildcard ticket to participate in aikido festival 'White Nights - 2010'). Besides, these rewards are provided:
- for each question the first winner recieves the prize (aside from points);
- for 3 different wins - a special prize.
It is forbidden to:
- spam and post links on third party sites or services in the answers;
- post texts advocating against any organization, person, or group of people.
