Sergey Kiselev Comments on «Tornado—2014» Aikido Festival

Each event puts before its organizers the goals that they want to achieve. In turn after the end of the event, it is necessary to do an analysis and conclusions on what has been seen.

All the goals set by the organizers were fulfilled:

  • There were trainings of different masters in different directions.
  • Candidates for the Russian national team in the Aikikai direction were selected.
  • The most deserving of the «Tornado» award were awarded.
  • Demonstrative performances of various directions were held.
  • Negotiations of the leadership of the Russian National Aikido Board with some regional federations on solving urgent issues were held.
  • The leadership of the RNAB saw the regional masters level of training.
  • The festival was attended by representatives of new regions of Russia — Crimea and Sevastopol.
  • The Secretary General of the International Aikido Federation took part in the festival.
